Online tickets

This is the ticketing portal of the Strahov Monastery. Here, you can purchase tickets for regular tours of the monastery’s public areas, including the library (without entry to the halls), gallery, and historic halls. You can also buy tickets for concerts held within the monastery premises. Concerts are available for purchase individually or as part of discounted subscription packages. Please pay attention to the information provided below.

Current notice

On Tuesday, October 21, maintenance will be carried out on the main power supply to the monastery complex starting at 8 a.m. The power outage will likely last for several hours. The tour route will remain open but will not be lit. If possible, please plan your visit for the afternoon. Thank you for your understanding.

Joint Tour
16. 10. 2025, 9:00–17:00, 472 available tickets A complete self-guided tour of the monastery premises, including the Library (without entry into the halls), the Gallery, and other historical areas of the monastery. From May 5 to October 12 2025, the Joint Tour only includes the Library and the Gallery. The cloisters are not be accessible due to an ongoing exhibition.

  • Important note: A regular tour of the Strahov Library does not include entry into the library halls; visitors can only view them from designated areas. This measure is in place to protect the stored books from damage due to increased humidity. Thank you for your understanding.
  • From May 5 to October 23, the Joint Tour will include the Library and the Gallery. The Cloisters will not be accessible due to an ongoing exhibition.
  • A ticket for a tour or concert is valid for the date and number of persons specified on the ticket. Subscription tickets are valid for the dates indicated on the ticket. The number of available tickets is only approximate; the data is updated every 15 minutes.
  • Please pay special attention to entering your email address correctly during the purchase process. Any mistake (such as a typo) may result in the ticket not being delivered. If this occurs, please contact us via email or through the contact form under the section "Claims, e-Tickets, Complaints." 
  • Upon entry to a tour or concert, please present your e-ticket on a mobile device screen or in printed form. The ticket is validated by scanning the QR code at the turnstile. Please also show your ticket to the staff on-site, who will verify the number of authorized persons and the type of admission.  
  • We do not sell tickets online that require identity verification (such as student discounts with ISIC, teacher discounts with ITIC, ICOM cardholders, members of religious orders and congregations, or group tickets). These tickets can be purchased only at the monastery's ticket office during opening hours.  
  • The receipt for your online ticket purchase can be found in your account, which was created during the purchase process. The login details were sent to you in the first email.
