Who can submit a report?
The internal whistleblowing system is intended for employees, persons in civil service, interns, participants in professional training, and volunteers. We have decided to exclude reports from individuals who do not perform work or similar activities for the Royal Canonry of Premonstratensians at Strahov as defined in Section 2(3)(a), (b), (h), or (i) of the Whistleblower Protection Act. This internal system is not intended for resolving issues related to regular business transactions or for addressing matters concerning other entities such as parishes or religious orders.
What happens after a report is submitted?
The report will be received by the designated person, who will assess its validity, investigate the matter, and propose appropriate preventive or corrective measures to the Royal Canonry of Premonstratensians at Strahov. We assure you that every report will be treated with due care.
The designated person is JUDr. Marie Boháčová, who is the sole recipient of the form-based reports and may also be contacted via email at: judr.bohacova@gmail.com.
You will be regularly informed about the processing of your report.
Who will know my identity?
Providing identifying information is a requirement for submitting a report. However, this information, like the report itself, will be visible only to JUDr. Marie Boháčová, who is responsible for thoroughly investigating the matter as the designated person. We assure you that all communication will remain confidential. In accordance with the law, your identity and the content of your report will not be disclosed to the management or staff of the Royal Canonry of Premonstratensians at Strahov.
Can I submit a report anonymously?
No. A report without the whistleblower’s identifying information does not qualify as a report under the Whistleblower Protection Act. Its contents will be forwarded outside the internal whistleblowing system as an informational notice to the management of the Royal Canonry of Premonstratensians at Strahov.
What type of conduct should be reported?
The internal whistleblowing system is intended for reporting conduct that violates civil law (Criminal Code, misdemeanour law, Labor Code, etc.). Reports concerning breaches of canon law or moral norms do not qualify under the Whistleblower Protection Act. These will be forwarded outside the internal whistleblowing system as an informational notice to the management of the Royal Canonry of Premonstratensians at Strahov, without including the whistleblower’s identity.
Am I at any risk by submitting a report?
Knowingly submitting a false report constitutes an offense under the Whistleblower Protection Act and may result in a fine of up to CZK 50,000. However, an honest whistleblower is not at risk. Your identity and the content of your report will only be known to the designated person. The Royal Canonry of Premonstratensians at Strahov is prohibited from retaliating against you in any way for submitting a report.
Are there other ways to report unlawful conduct?
Reports may also be submitted through the external whistleblowing system available on the website of the Ministry of Justice. Please note, however, that we do not have access to such reports and therefore cannot implement any potential corrective measures based on them.
