Historical Commission of the Order 2026

The Historical Commission of the Order moved to Strahov from Averbode in Belgium following the Order’s last General Chapter in 2024. For more than a hundred years, the Commission has published the yearbook Analecta Praemonstratensia, which contains historical studies on the Order and related topics and provides an overview of recent developments in Premonstratensian communities around the world, including meetings, conferences and newly published books. A website is currently being prepared to document the Commission’s activities.
