Easter Season at the Strahov Monastery

The Easter season begins with the Solemnity of the Resurrection of the Lord, this year on 5 April, and concludes with the Solemnity of Pentecost, this year on 24 May. We invite you to take part in the spiritual programme we have prepared for you. We wish you all the best.

5 April – Solemnity of the Resurrection of the Lord

10:00 a.m. Holy Mass with the blessing of Easter food

6:00 p.m. Holy Mass accompanied by the Strahov church choir Collegium Strahoviense and orchestra

7:30 p.m. Easter Vespers with procession to the baptismal font

6 April – Easter Monday

10:00 a.m. Holy Mass

The Easter season concludes

 

The schedule of other liturgies follows the usual order. The sacrament of reconciliation is available every day 30 minutes before the evening Mass, and on Sundays also before the morning Mass. It is also possible to arrange an individual appointment with a priest at another time.
