Norbertine Festivities
We invite you to the Norbertine Festivities, which will take place on Saturday, 2 May 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the grounds of the Strahov Abbey.

Together we will commemorate the legacy of the founder of the Premonstratensian Order – St Norbert – as well as the historical event of 1627, when his relics were transferred from Magdeburg in Germany to the Strahov Monastery.
You can look forward to a full-day programme in the Strahov courtyard with live music and a monastery fair, short organ concerts in the basilica, and a unique opportunity to visit free of charge the Romanesque halls with an exhibition about St. Norbert, as well as the newly restored Abbot’s Refectory with a beautiful view of the Prague skyline.
